Maybe they like to intimidate learner drivers-what sad lives they must have.<br /><br />If you find yourself being tailgated there are several things you can do to minimise the danger. The most important thing is not to get angry or <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">flustered</span> by their bad driving.<br />If you have vehicles in front of you, increase the gap ahead of you by gently easing off the accelerator, so if the vehicle in front does brake sharply you will have more room to brake gently, reducing the risk of the fool behind running in to the back of your car.<br />Don't try to teach the other driver a lesson by braking sharply as this may cause the other driver to react <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">aggressively</span>.<br />Don't try and speed up to get away from the driver behind as they will almost certainly speed up as well making the situation more dangerous.<br />If you feel intimidated by the driver behind the best option will be to find <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">somewhere</span> safe to pull over and let the other driver overtake-let them go and have their accident somewhere else.<br /><br />If you have any comments about tailgating please leave a message.<br />Thanks.<br /><br />Have a great weekend.<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.philcope.co.uk/">Driving Lessons In Preston</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1542265901390902477-5219852323944683192?l=driving-lessons-preston.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Phil Copehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03192316903171914759noreply@blogger.com0
